Hybrid Training Program

It’s a results driven program designed for real-world success. Your dog will be trained by one of our professional trainers working on Correcting problem behaviors, Managing anxiety, Building positive habits, and practicing socialization skills through field trips to dog-friendly public places.

At the end of the day, you’ll receive a lesson to review what your dog learned so you can continue reinforcing those skills at home.

Then it’s your turn! Our one-on-one private lessons will support you as you take the lead. You’ll get hands-on guidance from a professional trainer while strengthening the bond between you and your dog. We’ll equip you with tools, training techniques, and weekly homework so you can confidently continue the progress at home.

Whether you’re starting fresh with a new puppy or looking to break bad habits in an older dog, this program will give you the knowledge and skills to help your dog succeed.

Puppy Lesson

Got a new puppy? Congrats!

Bringing home a puppy is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. Between multiple rounds of vaccinations, microchipping, and finding the right food, there’s a lot to think about. That’s where Sit Means Sit comes in.

Our puppy lesson is designed to bridge the gap between the day you bring your puppy home and the time they’re fully vaccinated and ready for the Hybrid Training Program. We offer one-on-one sessions focused on food-based training, socialization, confidence building, and laying a solid foundation for future learning.

This lesson is the perfect way to start things off right and prevent common behavioral issues from developing. If you’ve recently adopted a puppy, our early training support is a must to set them up for long-term success.

At Sit Means Sit, we use proven, effective training methods tailored to your puppy’s personality and your specific goals. Our mission is simple: To revolutionize the quality of life with happy, obedient, and confident dogs.

Group Class

Once you complete one of our training programs, you’re invited to join our group classes. These aren’t just for basic manners, they’re designed to help your dog strengthen social skills, build confidence, and apply what they’ve learned in real-life situations with distractions, new people, and other dogs.

Why Group Classes Matter
Dogs don’t just need training, they need generalization: the ability to follow commands in various environments. Group classes provide safe, structured distractions so your dog learns to stay focused, even when squirrels, food, or strangers are nearby. Whether you’re brushing up on skills or taking them to the next level, these classes are a valuable part of your dog’s training journey.

Ongoing Support for Every Dog and Owner
Our trainers are committed to your success for life. Even after graduation, we’re here to guide you through any new behavior issues or challenges. If your dog picks up a bad habit like counter-surfing, we’ll help you fix it fast using the foundation you’ve already built.

Socialization, Done Right
True socialization isn’t just letting dogs interact. It’s teaching them to stay calm and focused around people, animals, and distractions. Group classes help dogs learn when to greet politely, and when to ignore and move on. We believe in controlled exposure and structured learning for safer, smarter dogs.

Confidence for You and Your Dog
Our goal is to give you the tools to confidently manage your dog in any situation. We believe training should be fun, supportive, and empowering. You’ll see noticeable improvements—even after your first week.

Who Can Join
Group classes are open to dogs who’ve completed any of our training programs. This ensures a safe, productive environment for everyone. Your trainer will let you know when you’re ready.

Next Steps
We encourage graduates to consider the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program, a respected certification for well-behaved dogs. It’s an excellent stepping stone for therapy or service dog work.
